The Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency ( BASEPA) pledged to improve the Sanitary condition of the Bauchi Custodial facility.
This is part of the discussion between the Director General of the Agency Dr Ibrahim Kabir and the House Keeper of the centre when he led a team of Environmental Health Officers and other officials of the Agency on a special visit to the facility this evening.
The Director General said his Agency will focus more on the issues of good Sanitary and hygienic living at the center, especially prompt evacuation of the custodial suckaway for the health and well being of the inmates as well as residents neighboring the custodial center.
He also assured the House Keeper the Agency's readiness to provide professional and technical advice and suggestions on how best to manage the facility for the health of the inmates.
The House Keeper appreciates the team for the visit and also extend the comptroller general's of the correctional services esteem regards to the Agency.
