Bauchi Governor's Aide Commends Councillors from Alkaleri for Supporting LG Chairman

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Bauchi State Governor, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado has applauded councillors from Alkaleri local government area of the state for embarking on crucial discussions with critical stakeholders from the area who are holding various positions in the present administration in the state. 

Comrade Gidado made the commendation when he received the councillors led by the deputy chairman of the council on a sallah visit in his office, Government House, Bauchi. 

The media adviser said the visitation will afford the local government councillors who are the representatives of the government at the grassroots to discuss ways of improving the living conditions of rural dwellers throug dividends of democracy. 

He commended the councillors in particular for their good understanding and working in synergy with the local government chairman, Yusuf Garba and called on them to maintain the tempo for the success of the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed being a son of the area.

"I am highly delighted to receive you today in my office on a special sallah visit, which to me is a great honor for Local Government Councillors to visit me in my office. This is the first of its kind in my knowledge."

"We are happy that councillors from the Local Government of His Excellency, have taken a bold step to work for the success of the government especially your foresight to reach out to all the stakeholders with a view to work out modalities of ensuring the success of the governor in his efforts to develop the state."

Comrade Mukhtar Gidado who used the medium to brief the councillors on the tremendous achievements recorded by Governor Bala Mohammed in critical sectors of the state’s economy, enjoined them to continue to support the move for the rapid development of the state. 

The deputy chairman, Alkaleri local government, Mohammed Idris Bappah and other councillors who spoke during the visit appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for his outstanding performance in the delivery of devidends of democracy and promised their continued support for more success. 

They used the opportunity to express their profound gratitude to the Governor's Media Adviser for his selfless service in discharging his assigned responsibilities and for providing assistance to people of Alkaleri Local Government.
