GOMBE: Deputy Governor Condoles his Boss, Family Members Over Sister's Lost

By Christopher Luka, GOMBE

Gombe State Deputy Governor, Manassah Daniel Jatau, Ph.D, has sympathised with his Boss, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and other members of the family over death of his sister, who died recently.

Hajiya Aishatu Yahaya Umaru wife to a Business Man, Alh. Abdulkadir Dankasa, died after a protracted illness at the age of 48.

Condoling the Governor and members of the family at their family house in Jekadafari, opposite Specialist Hospital Gombe, the Deputy Governor admonished that death should be accepted as the natural phenomenon, which must happen to all mortals.

He said, "in Nigeria, we are in a very critical and difficult situation when people die albeit mysteriously, and in most cases the corpses cannot be traced for befitting burial. It's therefore worth thanking God when, relations lay hands on their dead ones and bury them."

"I have seen things worst than death, for ones loved one to get lost, or become insane, can be so painful than death. When your loved one dies and is buried you will give up hope and be able to point to his or her tomb, unlike when one gets lost or mad."

"I enjoin the family to accept the death of Hajiya Aishatu as act of God, a verdict that can never be reversed."

"May Almighty God comfort the entire family and grant the deceased eternal rest" he added.

Responding, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya appreciated his Deputy for coming to sympathise with him and the members of the family.

The Governor prayed God Almighty to reward the visit.
