Bauchi state governor Bala Muhammad has been commended for his efforts to improving the security situation in the state.
The commendation was made by the state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy Affairs, Honourable Abdurrazak Nuhu Zaki, while speaking with newsmen.

He stated that the governor has visited all the affected areas and took appropriate measures to forestall the recurrence of such ugly incidents.
Nuhu Zaki applauded the governor for his developmental projects and relentless efforts on security matters in the state.
Speaking on the problems encountered during the recently concluded Hajj exercise in the state, Nuhu Zaki said the problem was not peculiar to Bauchi state alone but a national problem, attributed the problem to lack of giving enough Hajj seats to Nigeria by Saudi Arabian Authorities due to non-attendance of the Hajj exercises for two consecutive years which prevented many intending pilgrims from performing the pilgrimage this year.
He used the medium to caution the people of Bauchi state to avoid erection of buildings and blockage of waterways in this period of torrential rainfalls in order to avert flooding.
The Honourable commissioner for local government and chieftaincy Affairs also appreciated the people of the state for their continued support and loyalty to the present administration, pleading with them to reelect governor Bala Muhammad for the second term in the forthcoming 2023 gubernatorial election in the state.
