Bauch state governor Bala Muhammad said his administration will do everything possible to strengthen the security architecture in order to ensure the safety of lives and properties of people in the state.
The governor made the pledge when he paid a sympathy visit to the family of former governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Mu'azu and residents of Boto community of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area following an abduction and killings in the area by unknown gunmen.
Mohammed while reiterating his administration's keenness to strengthening security of lives and properties of citizens of Bauchi State, described the act not only unfortunate but condemnable, adding that it would not be taken lightly.
He added that the State Government has directed security agencies to dilate their activities to ensure criminals and their activities are defeated and eradicated.
In another development, Governor Bala paid a similar visit to Tudun Wadan Malema community, also in Tafawa Balewa town where he sympathized with the families and victims of another incident, saying that activities of criminals will not be condoned.
