JUST IN: ATAP Students Block Bauchi-Jos Highway

Students of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic ATAP Bauchi have embarked on a protest which resulted in blockage of Bauchi-Jos Highway.

Details of the reason behind their protest is sketchy as at the time of receiving this report, but source revealed that their purpose is not unconnected to the planned industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic ASUP. 

The source also revealed that police men have been deployed at the scene of the protest to control possible break of law and order.
