Nigerian Military Rescued 3 More Chibok Girls, Arrested 120 Terrorists

The joint military force of 'Operation Hadinkai' in the Northeast of Nigeria said that it killed 60 terrorists and arrested 120 suspected terrorists in a raid they carried out in the villages. Borno state.

The command also said that it has successfully rescued three Chibok girls who were abducted by Boko Haram from the Chibok Girls Secondary School in Borno since 2014.

The commander of the force, Major General Christopher Musa, who was briefing the journalists on their activities at their headquarters in Maiduguri, said that their officers are continuing to try to cut off all the means by which the fighters get help and weapons.

Then they succeed in arresting the people who work with the fighters in delivering them food and other goods.

The girls who were rescued between June 27 and July 25, include Ruth Bitrus, Karuna Luka who is carrying a baby and Hannatu Musa who has two children.

In April 2014, Boko Haram militants kidnapped 276 girls from Chibok boarding school, most of them between the ages of 16 and 18.
