People of Osun State Have Chosen Whom they Want - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari, has congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for winning the Osun State election held on Saturday.

The President stated this in a statement he published on his Facebook page where the he said that the people of Osun State expressed their opinion by voting, adding that what the people want in a democracy must be respected.

The president stated that the conduct of the election was a sign that there has been progress and the unity of the stakeholders and the electoral commission, the security forces, parties, journalists and non-governmental organizations, and the electorates themselves to further improve the electoral process in Nigeria.

The president also emphasized his intention to conduct a fair election during his administration.
