Saudi Arabia Repatriates Nigerian Pilgrims Over Fake Visas

Saudi authorities have repatriated seven Kano pilgrims from the country for using fake visas.

The Daily Trust reports that five of them went to Saudi Arabia through private hajj companies, while two went through the Kano State Hajj Commission.

One of the victims told the Daily Trust that they did not know they had been given fake visas until after they arrived in Saudi Arabia.

"We were on the check-in line when I was told I had to step aside, and then they told us we were carrying a fake visa," he said.
