Bauchi 2023: 'We Are Set to Elect Amb. Arewa As Our Governor'- Electorates

Bauchi State electorates have expressed their resolve to elect Ambassador Khalid Arewa, the governorship candidate under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) comes 2023 general election.

Some voters who spoke to our correspondent in an exclusive interview described the ZLP guber candidate as someone who has developmental blueprint to govern Bauchi State comes 2023 and beyond.

According to them, the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Ambassador Khalid Arewa is no doubt a person who has the interest of his people at heart.

They believed that, Ambassador Arewa stands a better chance of defeating the incumbent governor of the state, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the People Democratic Party (PDP).

Sampling the opinions of some stakeholders around some local government areas of the state, indicated that electorates expressed total support to Ambassador Khalid's Guber ambition, opining that the seat of power in the state need to be replaced with young and vibrant politician in order to deliver the much required dividends of democracy to the citizens.

One of those interviewed, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar Katagum said, "it is for us to choose better people as our governors, most especially Bauchi state, because we lack good representation and we are now seeking for a new blood, generation that will make sure its people go to beds with food, hospital services, to provide youth and women empowerment but not only building their families and relatives."

According to him, described ambassador Arewa is a true democrat and a visionary leader who has the capacity and experience to lead the good people of Bauchi state ahead of the general election.

Also adding his voice, is Mr. Amos Danladi from Bogoro Local Government, who said that "Ambassador Arewa has sponsored youths and women for skill acquisitions, settling of hospital bills, payment of school fees to students, provision of farm inputs to the farmers."

Amos said, "the people of Bauchi state resolved to elect credible and reliable candidate that can bring development to all, not someone that will be feeling like without him people will not do anything."

Danladi urges electorates to be ready for the change, adding that Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) is the best party that will bring proper solution to the good people of Bauchi state in the forthcoming general election. And ambassador Khalid Arewa is ready to deliver without any bias.

On his part, Malam Abubakar said, "Arewa deserved the exalted seat of the Bauchi state governor in 2023, because of his track records of performance and loyalty to the party and the people of Bauchi State."

Abubakar appeal to the party members to give their maximum support to Arewa saying he is the only qualified candidate that can help the party to win the 2023 general election without problem.

Alhaji Inusa Mohammed Kawu from Toro local government area said, "our party is the only political party that can win governorship seat in Bauchi State 2023."
