'Don't Regret Being a Teacher'- Surveyor Sa'idu Jahun

Teaching occupation has been identified as one of the noble profession which attracts respect from members of the society especially for the contribution the teachers give to the development of humanity.

District head of Zungur, Surveyor Sa'idu Ibrahim made the assertion during first speech and price giving day of Governments Junior Secondary School Rimin Jahun in Bauchi metropolis.

Surveyor Sa'idu said for long, history has it that teaching forms basics of any societal meaningful development and it has some degree of respect from members of the society.

He maintain that teachers have no reason to regret because they hardly indulge in act that would tarnish their image, adding that the rely on their hard-earned rewards. 

The monarch appreciated the cooperation of parents through sending their children to schools, especially the girl child.

He recall in olden days, females students were very few in their mist when compared with now adays when the turnout is very commendable. 

He therefore encouraged parents to continue to give the necessary support especially to the female children in order to promote girl child education.

Earlier in his welcome address the principal Government Junior Secondary School Rimin Jahun Salisu Ibrahim said the school was established in the year 2019 with five students and now it has over seven hundred students. 

Salisu Ibrahim said the day is unique and historical to him as pioneer principal to graduate firt sect of students in school. 

He applauded the policies and programme of Bala Muhammed administration in improving education in Bauchi state and also thank the various stakeholders especially the SBMC/old boys and Parents Teachers Association who are always assisting the school in its activities. 

Some of the graduating students Yusuf Abubakar and Fauziya Adamu thank their teachers for impacting knowledge and discipline to them. 

Highlights of event include drama presention match pass and presentation of prizes to outstanding staff and students.
