The Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Manassah Daniel Jatau, Ph.D, has commended the formations of groups towards campaigning for the success of the APC at all levels in the forthcoming general elections.
The Deputy Governor made the commendation when he received in audience one of the groups under the aegis of "Arewa Women For Tinubu" in his office during a courtesy call.
The Deputy Governor noted the need for the groups to harmonize and synergize to avoid possible conflicts and rifts that may eventually lead to sharp disagreement that can hamper the success of the party.
He urged the leadership of the group to make sacrifices of their time resources and energy in order to succeed, pointing out that any leadership that is not ready to make sacrifices is bound to fail.
Dr. Jatau expressed optimism that the caliber of people involved in this movement showed how committed the group is towards success of the Party.
He commended them for offering themselves to campaign for the APC Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, assuring them of his full support to the group and urged them to advise the Government and the party appropriately for successful outing in the forthcoming general elections.
Earlier, in their separate remarks the State Coordinator, Hajiya Zainab Muhammad and the Secretary Hon.Abdullahi Mohammed said the group was formed at the instance of the running mate of APC Presidential Candidate, Kashim Shettima to scout for votes for the party in nooks and crannies of the state and the country.
They expressed their commitment to ensure the party wins at all levels in the country, and solicited for support from the Deputy Governor and government of the state towards the participation of the group in the successful campaign during the forthcoming electioneering activities.
