Gov. Bala Receives Report of the PDP Reconciliation C'tee, Pledges to Strengthen the Party's Unity

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has pledged to strengthen the unity and progress of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the state adding that he will give succor and solace to those who participated and lost the primaries in an effort to ensuring members, stakeholders and leadership of the party are carried along. 

Mohammed made pledge today at the Bauchi Government House when he received in audience, the 22-man Reconciliation Committee headed by Senator Bala Adamu Kariya.

The governor said where the report would be thoroughly studied and implemented for the betterment of Party. 

Governor Bala while commending members and leadership of the committee, thanked the People's Democratic Party for looking inward to ensuring all grievances are addressed. 

Members of the Committee are, according to Mohammed, tested technocrats, accomplished politicians and people with the deep sense of knowledge and experience in the party management hence the need for team work for the success of the PDP in the forthcoming elections. 

In their separate remarks, the State PDP Chairman Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam and the Chairman, Reconciliation Committee and chieftain of the People's Democratic Party Senator Bala Adamu Kariya thanked Governor Bala for bringing the Party together.

They added that the Committee had met with stakeholders, members as well as aspirants in an effort to giving everyone a fair hearing. 

It could be recalled that the 22-man Reconciliation Committee was inaugurated by Governor Bala on 6th June, 2022.
