Bauchi Media Listeners Association Sets to Elect Leaders

Bauchi State Media Listeners Association says it has unveil guidelines and Criteria for smooth conduct of its forthcoming election.

Chairman Board of Trustees of  the Association, Malam Isa Sambo Gala made this known during  validatory meeting organized by the outgoing executives of union.

The chairman stated that the Aminu Mai-Manja  led administration of the Association, having served for the said period of three years, its tenure ends on 19th September, 2022 hence the need to vacate the office immediately.

Sambo Gala maintained that the electoral committee which is set up, will provide level playing ground for aspirants, thus the committee justify the confidence repose on them.

"Im notifying you from today 19th September 2022 to October 2nd 2022 sales of forms and screening of candidates will commence concurrently to FastTrack the the conduct of the exercise," he said.

Earlier in his speech, the outgoing Chairman Mal Aminu Mai-Manja thanked members of the Association for their support and cooperation giving to him and calls on them to rally round whoever emerge as a winner for the overall development of the union.

Aminu Mai-Manja called on the members who are seeking to contest for various positions during the forthcoming election to determine their capabilities before vying for any office, noting gone were the days when person can contest for any positions which he can not discharge his duty effectively. 

He thanked the media houses in Bauchi state for their support and cooperation given to State Media Listeners Association whenever the need arise.
