Rambaya Community Decry Lack of Access Road, Calls for Gov. Bala to Intervene

Communities along Rambaya village, a subburb of Bauchi metropolis has called on government at both federal and state level to come to their rescue for construction of the only access road that link the people of area to the city.

The called was made by the village head of Rambaya  Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Isa while fielding question from the journalist shortly after conducting a communal work to clear the debris along the Rambaya road to link other villages.

Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq explained that most of the people living in area are agrarian whose major source of livelihood is farm produce, noting that when the road is constructed, will no doubt reduced the difficulties encountered by the populace. 

The monarch pointed out that the road which link Rambaya village to Toro local government in Bauchi state, and if properly used, will increase the agricultural activities in the state which will subsequently guarantee food security in the country. 

Some residents of the area Malam Nasiru Wuntin Dada and Adamu Rambaya who spoke on the issue, said this year's raining season is characterized by  heavy downpour, which caused serious damage to the road.

The however appealed to concerned authorities, especially the Bauchi State government under the stewardship of governor Bala Much, to look into their plight.
