A 42 year old, Mrs Zainab Kirfi has been conferred with the traditional title of first Queen of Kirfi (Sarauniya)Community by the Chiefdom of Kirfi Local Government Council under the leadership of Alhaji Kawuji Garba.
This is contained in a statement signed by Miss Hafsa Kirfi, the spokesperson of Alhaji Hussaini Kirfi's family and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Bauchi.
According to the statement, the letter of the title was presented by a delegation led by Alhaji Garba Jibrin.
“The first Queen Sarauniya is a direct descendant of the famous King Aliyu Kirfi, who later became the Barayan Bauchi.
“Mrs Zainab Kirfi was born on September, 20th 1980 to the family Of Alhaji Hussaini Aliyu Kirfi.
"Until the conferment, Kirfi attended the prestigious Bayero University Kano and University of Maiduguri, Borno State respectively,” she said.
The spokesperson also revealed that Kirfi is a civil servant working with the Bauchi State Internal Revenue Board.
