2023: Vote for Atiku - Gov. Bala Tells Gamawa, Zaki LGs

Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed has appealed to the people of Gamawa and Zaki local government area councils to vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar massively, the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming general elections. 

The governor made the appeal to the Gamawa and Zaki teaming supporters during his re-election campaign tour, saying that PDP remaing the only party to salvage the nation from its present situation. 

The governor however urged Nigerian eligible voters to massively vote for Atiku Abubakar whom, he said, presently stands the only leader that could salvage the country from economic doldrums and restore the lost glory of the country if elected as the nation’s number one citizen.

Mohammed who is seeking for his re-election for second term in office, promised the mammoth crowd that besieged the Gamawa stadium, venue of the campaign launch, that if elected, he will build sesame industry to ease their suffering in transporting the commodity from their farm to the markets. 

He appealed to the thousands of PDP supporters in Gamawa and Zaki to vote him and Atiku Abubakar as governor and president of Nigeria as well as all elective positions in the state from top to bottom under the platform of PDP. 

Mohammed who also urged people of Gamawa and Zaki not to be deceived by the APC fake campaign promises, however adviced them to collect whatever given out to them as empowerment ranging from cash or foodstuff because it is part of their siphoned money, and vote for PDP candidates. 

Earlire, the Director General of Kaura campaign council, Faruq Mustapha also appealed to the people of the two local governments to vote for Atiku and Bala to continue to enjoy more dividend of democray in the area. 

In their separate welcome address the PDP local government chairmen of Gamawa and Zaki thanked the governor for selecting areas for the flagging off his gubernatorial campaign, saying the party has almost all the votes from the areas. 

They assured the governor that the people of Gamawa and Zaki will reciprocate by coming out massively to vote for the victory of PDP in Gamawa Local Government Area of the state. 

Highlights of the event included the presentation of flags to the party candidates from the north zone by the PDP state chairman, Hamza Koshe Akuyam.
