Ahmad SAKA, Bauchi

Hoodlooms have reportedly attacked home of a one time Bauchi State APC governorship aspirant, and presently assistant Director Grassroot Engagement and Orientation of Tinubu Shettima Presidential Campaign Council PCC Alhaji Sani Al'ameen Muhammed.

Report revealed that the hoodlums who missed Al'ameen at home, took away handsets and computers of his children and other belongings.

When contacted, Al'ameen confirmed the incident, saying, "I can confirm that in the early hours of this morning, my house was broken and I don't know if the hoodlums are hired asassins. It seems the target was clearly me, as the intruders headed straight for what they thought was my room, broke in and met my absence."

He added that, "they took away our personal belongings, my children laptops and phones. They asked my where about which makes me to suspect that they had only one objective, my elimination."

"I want to thank God the almighty Allah who protected us. Thankfully I am well and no body in my household was hurt, but this is a stark reminder that the 2023 political season has started and those who can not win on the field, will seek other ways to attain power," he said.

"It may have worked in the past, but not here and not now. Let me assure my well wishers and my supporters that this incident has not deterred me, rather it has made me more committed to my ideal principles, that is fighting to their cause."

"We want to see a more peaceful Bauchi state, where all can sleep with both eyes closed and our youths can engage in meaningful activities, that can put food on their families' tables. Brick house is still our destination."

"We are clearly a threat to someone. That person and their group of persons will soon be exposed. In the meantime, I ask for your prayers and your support and some privacy."

He said, "Any additional detail we have will be released to you via the security agencies, we have reported the matter to Tafawa Balewa Housing Estate Police station, Let them do their jobs and I have every confidence that justice will be done."
