NATIONAL QUR'ANIC COMPETITION: Gov. Bala Awards Scholarship to Six Bauchi Indigenes

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has awarded scholarship to six indigenous students who excelled during the 26th National Qur'anic Recitation Competition organized in Yobe State by Jama'atul Izalatul Bid'ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah JIBWIS, founded by Sheikh Ismail Idris Jos.

The students are Ahmad Muhammad Sambo who emerged victorious in sixty Hizb with Tafsir, Ismail Abdulkadir that came first in sixty Hizb with Tajweed and Hassan Abdullahi Bagam who was the second in forty Hizb category.
Others are the fourth position in twenty Hizb Al'Ameen Adam Muhammad while Fahad Muhammad Shitu was the seventh in ten Hizb as well as  Aliyu Yusuf  who was also the seventh in three Hizb.

They were presented to the Governor in the Government House by the State Chairman, Council of Ulamah Sheikh Salihu Sulaiman Ningi and other of leaders of JIBWIS from the state and national level.

Receiving the students, Governor Bala Mohammed congratulated them for making the state proud through the outstanding performance at the National competition.
According to the Governor, the scholarship award was to encourage them to further their education towards contributing to the development of the state.

Responding, the State Chairman Council of Ulamah Sheikh Salihu Sulaiman Ningi commended the Governor for the encouragement and urged the students to take advantage of the opportunity.
