The Adamawa State Police Force has deployed additional security personnel to ensure that everything goes smoothly ahead of President Buhari's visit to the state.
The spokesperson of the state police force, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed this to the press in Yola today Saturday.
He said they have instructed the officers to show professionalism and respect for human rights while conducting work.
The News Agency of Nigeria NAN reported that Buhari will visit the state on Monday to launch the campaign for the governorship candidate of the APC Senator Aishatu Binani.
The police spokesman said that additional officers and units included security forces, anti-terrorist units and patrol vehicles.
