The All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Air Marshal Sadiq Baba Abubakar has promised to construct the Kafin Zaki Dam if elected as governor of the State.
Besides, he also pledged to empower the youth and women through vocational skills acquisition programs to make them self-reliant and become employers of labour.
Sadeeq pledged in his continuation of a campaign rally you're at Kafin Madaki headquarters of Ganjuwa Local Government Area in Bauchi, Tuesday.
He noted that the Kafin Zaki Dam is one of the great assets for irrigation farming for the people of Kafin Madaki and if constructed is going to create more job opportunities for the teaming youth as well as generate huge revenue in the area and beyond.
The former air force boss said his administration will prioritise and speed up the project if given the mandate by the people of the local government area.
Similarly, he said he will ensure justice and equity in the distribution of resources for all parts of the State irrespective of political, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
He urged the electorate and mammoth supporters to vote for APC from top to bottom in all elective positions in the State.
Earlier, the APC chairman, Aliyu Babayi, ably represented by Muhammad Hassan Tilde told the gathering that Sadiq Baba Abubakar will mismanage the resources of the State, he would use the it towards projects that have direct bearing on the common people in the State.
He added that the lingering problems of salary, pension and gratuity of civil servants would be over if elected as the governor of the State.
The rally saw the presentation of flags to the contestants in the central zoncomprisingnf; Darazo, Ningi, Ganjuwa, Warji, Dambam and Misau LGAs.
