Bauchi 2023: We'll Eliminate corruption, Injustice - Air Marshal Sadiq

The Bauchi state gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Rtd Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar said his administration will eliminate all forms of corruption if elected as governor of the State. 

He also, promised to reposition the State by ensuring justice to every zone in terms of resource allocations and manpower in government irrespective of party, religion and ethnic differences. 

Sadique made the promise at the gubernatorial campaign rally held in Zaki Local Government Area, noting that the present administration has failed the yearning and aspirations of the people who voted them into power by not fulfilling its promises made during its campaigns in 2019.

According to him, "Our administration is going to ensure corruption is being eliminated in all government agencies and contracts must follow due process before awarding to any bidder." 

He added that the era of family and friends in the affairs of the State resources is now over and is not going to be business as usual. 

"We'll ensure equitable distribution of resources, government positions as well as projects across all 20 local government area councils."

"We'll provide an enabling environment for every individual to contribute his quarter to the development of the State."

The APC gubernatorial candidate also pledged to address the problem of out-of-school children, revitalised agriculture and empowered small and medium enterprises as well as youth and women.

While soliciting more support during the coming election, Rtd Air Vice Marshall Sadiq Abubakar urged the electorates in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi to come out in mass and vote for All Progressive Candidates APC from bottom to top.

The colourful rally attracted hundreds of party supporters and, APC and solidarity songs from musicians and singers as well as the unveiling of the party candidates vying for political offices by the gubernatorial candidate Rtd Air Mashall Sadique Abubakar.
