Bauchi Lawmaker Nakwada, Bags the Most Media Friendly Lawmaker Award

Member representing Bogoro Constituency in the Bauchi state house assembly Mr Musa Nkwada 

has been awarded the most friendly lawmaker by the correspondents of different media organizations covering the state assembly.

The Leader of the Correspondent's Mr Salisu Halliru while presenting the award to the lawmaker on Monday in Bauchi, said the award was in recognition of his friendliness with Journalists in the assembly.

He said the award is not only for his friendship with Journalists and for his   outstanding achievements as a lawmaker and his contributions to the infrastructural development of his constituency.

"You are given this special award of exemplary performance and also awarded as the Media-Friendly State Lawmaker, because you deserve it. 

"Your friendship and closeness to the Correspondents in the state assembly necessitated the award given to you.

"We went to your constituency and saw for ourselves your developmental projects in your constituency," he said. 

In a remark, Mr Nkwada  declared his appreciation of the gesture and the special recognition  

 of the most media-friendly lawmaker.

"I have never envisage this I never know my relationship with Journalists in the house is something right home about. 

"You people want me to redouble my relationship with you , it's a challenge for me to always involved journalists in my activities. 

"I am overwhelmed with this award  from not other people, but journalists,  the fourth estate of the realm, I appreciate that to all the assembly Correspondent's," he said.
