Gov. Bala Mohammed Lost Trust of the People in the State- APC Chieftains

Chieftains of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi state have declared that Governor Bala Mohammed has lost trust of the people in the state.


The chieftains are Alh Bello Kirfi, former governor, Mal. Isa Yuguda former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, former Senator, Abdullahi Salisu Matori 

Others are Seen. Nazeef Gamawa, former Reps Isah Matori, Sen. Hamma Misau, former deputy governor, Abubakar Maikafi and former commissioner, Mahiru Maiwada. Bashir Riminzayam.


The party Chieftains made the assertions in their separate remarks at news briefing on Wednesday in Bauchi, 

Alhaji Bello Kirfi , Former Minister of Special duties during President Olusegun Obasanjo regime  said we make frantic efforts to bring as Governor of Bauchi state.

"But what we received in return was mismanagement of public funds and trust, bastardizing government resources among others," he said 

Kirfi said that they decided to support the APC gubernatorial candidate because they believe he will deliver the yearning and aspirations of the  citizens. 

"The governor has committed  serious breaches for failure to pay salaries of workers, gratuity and pensions as well as giving out contracts without due process. 

"Violating the budget process diverting local government areas funds to his personal," he said .

The Governor is among the highest depthose both internal and external debts in the country, the state j placed at 5th position. 

On his part, Mr Dogara Yakubu Former speaker of the house representative, accused Gov Mohammed for not leaving the responsibility of the citizens to vote him to power.

"People already lost trust in him, because of Connie's way of doing things. That's why you see people parting ways with him.

"He bastardised traditional institutions ,lack of adhering to his promises ,why should people not lose trust in him," he said.

In a remark, APC the gubernatorial candidate, reiterated his commitment to recover single kobo stoling back to the Treasury of the State. 

He accused the governor of prioritizing a project that does not have direct bearing on the needs of the common people.
