Eid-el-Fitir Celebration: Bauchi Police Arrests Teenagers in Connection with Sara-Suka

In an effort to ensure a hitch-free Eid-el-Fitir Sallah celebration and to curb crimes and criminality in Bauchi State, Police Command has arrested over fifteen suspected criminals terrorising Bauchi town. 

The suspects which all of them are teenagers, were arrested within the axis of Kangarke, Makwalla and Karofin Madaki. 

The Command Public Relations Officer SP Ahmad Muhammad Wakil said all the suspects confessed to have taken part in the activities of thug and thuggery known as Sara-Suka towards terrorising citizens of the metroplis.

Ahmad Mohammed Wakil further disclosed that the suspects would be charged to for prosecution after investigation. 

Meanwhile the Command has assured it's readiness to protect lives and properities of the people during and after the Forthcoming Sallah celebration.

"We are assuring the general public that our duty towards maintaining law and, providing adequate securoty of lives and property, preventing and detecting crimes and enforcing the laws to preserve civil order in top gear".

The command also urged people not to panic as the security agents would be deployed in the nooks and crannies of the state for security operation during the celebration. 

The eid-el-Fitir is expected to hold in Friday or Saturday 21st and 22nd April 2023 respectively.
