Alhaji Saddique Ibrahim, the leader of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), has pledged total support and loyalty to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State administration.
Ibrahim made the pledge while addressing his members when he returned home from Germany where he went for treatment on Friday in Bauchi.
He said MACBAN is highly elated with the return of Gov. Mohammed for his second term tenure as the governor of Bauchi state.
"We are highly loyal to the Mohammed administration and we will not relent to key in and support whatever decisions it takes towards ensuring the administration succeeds.
"We are committed towards ensuring that the government policies and directives are carried out to the letter by our members," he said .
"Therefore MACBAN pledged to ensure that it mobilises all members to rally round the administration for betterment of the citizens of the state," Ibrahim.
The Chairman pointed out that MACBAN are also critical stakeholders in the present administration of Bala Mohammed.
"Its members work day and night to see that Gov Mohammed return for his second term tenured.
"The governor also pledged to involve our members in the system and also provide a conducive atmosphere for our members to go about their normal businesses.
"As cattle breeders, we only ask for a secure environment to do our grazing business," he said.
Ibrahim said cattle rearers are always ready to support their host communities and the state citizens in any capacity.
"We are willing to assist the Govt. to make life meaningful for everyone and to sustain the already peaceful co-existence in the state," he said.
He however alleged that some communities and government agencies discriminate against its members and deny them the environment to operate.
