The All Progressive Congress APC gubernatorial aspirant Alhaji Sani Al'ameen Muhammad has advised Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir to do more In the areas that have challenges and consolidate on the achievements for the well being of Bauchi citizens.
Al'ameen gave the advice m ahead of the swearing in of the governor for second term, saying the governor has done a lot for the state he has open the state and he need to do more in the areas of Education, Health care and civil service.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Bauchi for electing the governor for the second term in the best interest of Bauchi state.
Al'ameen said the administration of Bala had laid “the right foundations to build a Stronger and more prosperous Bauchi state.”
"Now that Governor Bala received his second mandate is for consolidation and growth, for investment and economic reform, he should also focus on education, Health care and making the youth,elders and all people the centerpiece of government policies and programmes.”
He said Governor Bala should use his wisdom to recruit more medical doctors and personnel in the areas of nose, ear dentist, gynecologist and other areas that required medical personnel, he should also clear the issue of backlog of pensions, and solve the little issue of paying workers salaries, gratuities, wages, leave grant and promotions."
He said, "The Governor should also pay special attention in the education subsector, he should review the government policies in education for the development of the state, and should declare war against desert encroachment, by encouraging Bauchi citizens to plant trees, stop felling of trees even if he will sponsor a bye law to be enacted by the State House of Assembly."
According to him, "the Governor should do this because I know his goal remains to make life richer, better, and more fulfilling for all citizens of the state. He should continue setting the priorities of the government, communicating the goals and outcomes of policies and programmes, and pursuing them with relentless zeal to provide good governance to our people.”
Al'ameen however commended the governor for toleraating his opponents for their robust campaign and hard-fought electoral battle and the way he extend olive branch to come forward with whatever ideas and advice they may have in helping to move Bauchi forward, since the election period is over, calling on them to join hands and put Bauchi State forward.
He however advised the governor to be wary of praise singers, self centered people who always want to achieve what they want instead of focus on the well being of the state.
On the reason why he supported the governor despite he is in the opposition party, he said he supported the governor because of the interest he has in Bauchi state and the Governor is doing everything to move the state forward intact he has change the narratives.
