Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement, North East, Honourable Abdulhamid Yahaya has inaugurated a Free Eye Medical Outreach in Bauchi where many vulnerable people have received assistance.
The event which took place at the Bauchi Central Mosque, witnessed a large turnout of men and women suffering from different eye problems.
The President's aid who was represented by his assistant, Honourable Abbas Tukur Ahmad, said the initiative aims to assist the less privileged in the community suffering from different eye-related ailments.
He said the exercise which runs from the 13th to 20th of January, 2024, underscores the commitment of Honourable Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu led adminsitration, towards improving the health and well-being of the good people of Bauchi State, and the Northeast in general.
The exercise also seeks to address the eye care concerns of the less privileged within the community, which also serves as a beacon of hope for those in need, showcasing the collective dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of community members.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of the Emir of Bauchi, represented by Lifidin Bauchi, among several other dignitaries.
In their remark, the beneficiaries applaud the Office of the SSA and His team for bringing the program in to existence, praying for the progress and well-being of SSA Community Engagement Northeast.
