Gov. Bala Flaggs Off Roads Construction in Bauchi North, Central Sentorial Districts

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad has has performed the Ground breaking ceremony of five local Government Areas of two senatorial district in the State.

The local Governments include Darazo, Misau in Bauchi Central and Katagum, Shira and Jama'are in Bauchi North.

In Darazo LGA , the Governor  flagged off the 22km road construction from Darazo town to Gabchiyari, while in Misau he  flagged off the dialization 7km road construction from AD Rufa'i College for Legal andcIslamix Studies Misau  to Government Secondary School Misau GSS Misau. 

While in Katagum local Government Area, Governor Bala flagged off the dialization 5.2km road construction form setraco round about to emir's Palace. 

Governor Bala said his administration is  determined to address hardship of the electorates and bring development to their door steps.

He said his administration remains committed to alleviating distress and converting hardship through kick-starting initiatives for prosperity and economic development. 

When completed, the project, will according to the Governor it will, augment farming productivity and livelihoods which are part of his campaign promises. 

He assured the people of his administration's readiness to providing them with exemplary leadership and dividends of democracy, calling on them to continue to support him. 

While in Bauchi North Senatorial Distruct Governor Bala Mohammed took time and inspected the ongoing construction of 

Twenty five kilometers road linking the two major towns of Itas and Gadau in Itas-Gadau Local Government Area of the State and expressed his satisfaction with the progress made. 

The eight point five billion naira project which include construction of the most longest and expensive bridge in the state, drainages, culvers and bridges was inaugurated in April 2021 by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.

Inspecting the project  Governor Bala Mohammed said when completed it's would enhance transportation and agricultural activities among the communities living in the area.

He said the unscheduled inspection was out of his determination to ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of all the projects awarded by his administration and  commended the contractors handling the project for working according to the project specification despite the rising cost of construction materials.

Conducting the Governor round the project, a Director of the contracting firm Engineer Ahmad Al-Sadeeq expressed confidence that the work would be completed between April to May this year.

He However promised to deliver the project according to the contractual agreement.
