BAHA Speaker Receives Award of Excellence form ASHH Foundation

In it's usual way of showing gratitude over indefatigable efforts of some illustrious legislative members that delivered democratic dividends and presented Bills that carried all along, Attah Sisters Helping Hand Foundation,  which is a non-profit organization in Bauchi presented an Award of Excellence to the Bauchi State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Ɗangaladiman Ningi).

Speaking while giving the award, leader of the delegation who is also the Founder and Executive Director of ASHHF, Amb. Comfort Ene Attah said that they were in the State Legislative Chamber to commend the Speaker on his immense contributions for the development of Non-Governmental Organizations in the State. She revealed that "the Honourable Speaker over the years has been serving as a leaning wall to all, voice of the voiceless who always struggles to see that women and children succeed in life."

"We are all here to celebrate him as hero of our time who is representing his constituents well, this Award is mainly to encourage so that you put effort for the advancement of women and children in the State. We are all aware that you worked days and nights till VAPP Law and Child Right Act come to reality, both were successfully assented by the State Governor". Amb. Comfort asserted.

In his remarks after receiving the Award, the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman thanked them for finding him worthy of the award. "I wholeheartedly appreciate you for this wonderful award, as members, we are here for the people and will do everything within our capacities to help them. Our breakthroughs to societies emanated from mutual respect and understanding between the State House of Assembly and the Government, putting end to the challenges of our people has been a top priority".

Rt. Hon. Suleiman maintained that Bauchi metropolis and all the 20 Local Government Areas are passing through infrastructural and economic growth as leaders in all levels are trying to make life easier for common man. The Speaker then urged the populace to understand the situation and support all decisions taken by leaders while at the same praying fervently for them to succeed.
