Honorable Abdulmuminu Kundak, Vice Chairman of Bauchi South, has dismissed reports of a recall move against Senator Shehu Buba Umar, representing Bauchi South senatorial district.
Kundak expressed shock that constituents who had previously supported the senator would now seek his recall.
The Vice Chairman urged those behind the recall move to come forward with their grievances instead of hiding behind "unscrupulous politicians" spreading lies.
He highlighted Senator Shehu Buba's achievements, including rural roads, electrification, water supply, and educational sponsorships, which have earned him a reputation as a transformative leader.
Kundak attributed the recall move to "jealous" politicians who are unhappy with the senator's success in consolidating President Tinubu's agenda and providing commendable representation.
He also dismissed allegations of banditry links, calling on the public to disregard the recall move, which he described as "drama-like" and lacking tangible reasons.
Kundak praised the people of Bauchi state for recognizing the senator's impactful projects and representation, which have received support from security institutions.
He thanked them for distinguishing between the state's enemies and genuine leaders like Senator Buba, who is working to fulfill President Tinubu's agenda.
He however urged the public is urged to disregard the recall move and support the senator's work.
