The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Dr Abubakar Y Suleiman, has extended warm felicitations to the Christian community in the state on the occasion of their festive celebrations.
In a goodwill message, singed by the Speaker's spokesperson Mukhtar Garba Kobi, "Dr Suleiman urged Christians to embody the spirit of kindness, forgiveness, and compassion, emphasizing the importance of these virtues in fostering unity, harmony, and peaceful coexistence within the state and the country at large."
"The Speaker encouraged all citizens, regardless of their faith, to promote peaceful coexistence, support one another, and show compassion and understanding, especially in these times of difficulty," Mukhtar added.
He stressed that, "Dr Suleiman assured the people of Bauchi State that the House of Assembly will continue to work tirelessly towards delivering democratic dividends that improve the quality of life for all citizens."
He also advised Christian youth to uphold the values of their faith, act as positive role models, and contribute positively to society.
The Speaker emphasized the need for responsibility among the youth, encouraging them to shun unwholesome activities and instead, embody the principles of integrity, respect, and compassion that define their beliefs.
