In a remarkable recognition of his contributions to nation-building, Governor Bala AbdulKadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has been conferred with the prestigious traditional title of Talban Mbula by His Royal Majesty, Murum Bwaltan Bentley Biyapo Mboiiman II, the traditional ruler of Mbula Kingdom in Adamawa State.
The ceremonial event took place at the Government House during a courtesy visit by Governor Bala Mohammed to the Mbula monarch. The traditional ruler praised the governor for his outstanding efforts in the advancement and development of Nigeria. He described the conferment of the title as a gesture that acknowledges the governor's tireless commitment to national growth.
In his remarks, Murum Bwaltan Bentley Biyapo Mboiiman II expressed deep admiration for Governor Bala Mohammed's leadership and the positive changes witnessed in Bauchi State under his administration. He commended the governor for his continuous advocacy for unity, peace, and progress, emphasizing that the title of Talban Mbula was not only a recognition of his efforts but also a call to further service to the people and the nation at large.
Responding to the honor, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the traditional ruler and the people of Mbula Kingdom for the recognition. He acknowledged the significance of the title, stating that as a former district head himself, he would remain steadfast in serving the kingdom and its people. The governor further affirmed that the chieftaincy title of Talban Mbula would serve as an added impetus, motivating him to continue his pursuit of developmental goals both in Bauchi State and across Nigeria.
"This honor is a reflection of the trust and respect the Mbula Kingdom has for my leadership, and I assure His Royal Majesty and the entire kingdom that I will not falter in my service to the people. This title encourages me to do even more for the growth and development of our nation," Governor Bala Mohammed said.
