Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens, emphasizing the importance of closing any gaps in security and ensuring that the people can "sleep with their two eyes closed."
The governor made the statement during an expanded security meeting held in Bauchi, which was attended by the six Emirs of Bauchi State, heads of various security agencies, and other key stakeholders. The meeting focused on bolstering security measures across the state and finding collective solutions to ongoing challenges.
In his opening remarks, Governor Mohammed underscored the priority of securing the lives and properties of the citizens, stating that the security of the people remains the utmost responsibility of his administration.
