Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to partnering with security agencies to ensure peace and stability in the state and its environs.
The Governor made this known when he received the outgoing Air Officer Commanding Special Operations Command, Nigerian Air Force Base Bauchi, Air Vice Marshal Eniobong Effiong, at the Government House in Bauchi.
During the meeting, Governor Mohammed commended Air Vice Marshal Effiong for his contributions to security operations during his tenure, emphasizing the need for sustained efforts in combating crimes and maintaining peace in the state.
The Governor specifically charged the Nigerian Air Force to enhance air surveillance, particularly in border communities, in collaboration with other security agencies, to strengthen security and maintain peace across the state.
He noted that the state government would continue to support the Nigerian Air Force and other security agencies in their efforts to ensure peace and stability in the state.
In his response, Air Vice Marshal Eniobong Effiong expressed appreciation for the Governor's unwavering support during his tenure. He assured Governor Mohammed that the Nigerian Air Force would continue to collaborate with the Bauchi State government in promoting peace and security in the state and the country at large.
