In a historic sweep, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged victorious in all 30 local government areas (LGAs) of Osun State during the recent council elections, securing both chairmanship and councillorship seats across the state.
The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) Chairman, Hashim Abioyeannouncednt on Saturday during a press briefing, revealing that the PDP's candidates won in every LGA, marking a significant political achievement for the party.
"The results are conclusive and reflect the will of the people of Osun State. We have witnessed a strong display of confidence in the PDP, and we are grateful for the support," Abioye said.
