Empowerment Program Expands in Ramadan with Essential Aid, Equipment for Constituents

From: Daure David

In a continued effort to uplift and support the people of Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency, the ongoing empowerment program has made significant strides, with a special focus on aiding those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.

The program, spearheaded by Hon. Isa Ali JC, the PDP Minority Whip and Member Representating Billiri Balanga Federal Constituency, saw the distribution of vital food items to community members observing the fasting period.

The initiative aims to ensure that fasting individuals are able to receive the nourishment they need, allowing them to maintain their spiritual focus without the added burden of food insecurity.

In addition to the food aid, the empowerment program also provided tricycles and TVS model machines to local youth and women. This donation is designed to encourage self-reliance, equipping members of the community with the tools they need to enhance their livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to the local economy. These efforts are expected to significantly improve the lives of recipients, fostering independence and productivity.

A notable aspect of the program is its non-partisan nature. Despite political affiliations, the initiative remains dedicated to serving all constituents, transcending party lines. Hon. Isa Ali JC emphasized that the aim is to ensure that the people of Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency receive the support they need, regardless of their political stance.

"We are committed to delivering exceptional service and making a meaningful impact in the lives of our people," said Hon. Isa Ali JC. "The success of this program, especially during this sacred month, reflects our unwavering dedication to the betterment of our community."

The program's success serves as a reminder of the power of collaboration and compassion in driving positive change, highlighting the shared goal of improving the lives of those who need it most.
