Ex-Rep Candidate Decries APC's Reward System, Seeks Recognition for Loyal Members

A former All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Bauchi Federal Constituency seat, Alhaji Abdullahi Sirajo Jibrin, has expressed concern over the party's reward system, stating that loyal members have been overlooked despite their contributions to the party's success.

Jibrin made the remarks during a visit to the APC local government office in Bauchi, where he distributed Ramadan food to 1,000 households. He emphasized that the party's failure to recognize and reward loyal members may demotivate them and hinder the party's progress.

According to Jibrin, despite the party's victory in the last election, none of the candidates, including himself, had been considered for appointments or rewards. He appealed to the party leadership to acknowledge the efforts of loyal members and consider them for appointments, stressing that the lack of a reward system is a major problem within the party.

"It is time for the party leadership to recognize our efforts and consider us for appointments," Jibrin said. "We have worked tirelessly for the party, and it is only fair that our loyalty is rewarded."

Jibrin's comments were echoed by local APC leaders, who commended his commitment to the party and its members. They expressed gratitude for his Ramadan gesture, which they said demonstrated his dedication to the welfare of the party's faithful.

The APC local government chairman praised Jibrin's efforts, saying, "We appreciate his resilience and commitment to the party. His visit and Ramadan gesture have boosted our morale and demonstrated that he values our contributions to the party."

Jibrin's call for a more inclusive reward system within the APC comes as the party prepares for future elections. His comments highlight the need for the party to recognize and reward its loyal members, ensuring their continued support and motivation.
